Tiring Week…

April 11, 2011

So this week, was a busy busy one. We started the week off with a Zone Conference, a big gathering of missionaries, everybody who was in the countyside areas came there, it was 1.5 hrs away, and over 100km from where we live…Canada is a big country.
On the way back, where was tired, and hungry so we wanted to get home, the missionary driving, Elder "Pikachu" <– thats his nickname, was driving a bit fast, we hit a pothole and got a flat tire…so it took way longer in the end, the meeting finished at 3pm, we got home close to 6.30pm.

Had a packed day from Wednesday to Friday, lots of travelling, lots of visits to people we’ve never met before, mainly less active members, was 3 consecutive busy day, its good to be busy. Then topped of with a long stressful Sunday, I won’t go into the details but it was stressful for sure.

This week, one of the highlights, was cooking okonomiyaki on Saturday for dinner, okonomiyaki translate into "fry whatever you want", its a pancake like thing with veggies and meat, and taste super good…that was nice. Some photos of it…

Lastly, went to a less activemember’s home for dinner, they live on a maple farm, and gave us a freshly bottled of REAL pure 100% maple syrup…it’s beautiful! Turned out they weren’t too keen on learning again, but we also got a nice bag of homemake cookies, and a beautiful dinner from the visit. Although it was really sad leaving that they probably won’t be back to church again for a while

Well, enjoy the pictures, until next week, take care!
