The past week in brief.

September 26, 2011

Start off with the first picture, went to my usual eatery, tried out the kimbap, it was nice…pretty good size, I have been to the same korean restaurant at least 15 times or more on my mission, and still haven’t tried out everything on the menu yet, but it’s been good everytime… actually most of the pictures of korean food I’ve posted, have been at this place (Jeon Ju Hyang) you can google and find it…it’s pretty good!

So on Saturday, we attended a funeral, the 2nd one on my mission. It felt really strange, somebody you knew and met for the first time on your mission, also dies while you are on a mission, just make you realise how fragile life is…so obiviously didn’t take any pictures of that.

And on Sunday, Gigi got confirmed as a member yesterday, during the the confirmation, as she was receiving the holy ghost, she broke down in tears…she said it was her "cold" getting really bad and sniffy…but I think otherwise…it was a wonderful feeling, she really felt the warm feeling the Spirit brings.

The other 2 photos are the gift we made her, it is a diary with a box, but we had the members write down their testimony and words of encouragement, along with some photos we printed from the baptism, put it all together…it looks nice…very colourful, the card that the members wrote on matched the colours of the pages! Yeah! Anyway it was really nice…and also made a box of kimchi fried rice too…apparently she was more pleased with the rice then with the gift…Well what I can say…I cook pretty well!

Have a great week…stay cool…
