In the month of Feburary…

February 22, 2011

Whoa…this is the shortest month of the year…and it has just flew right by…nearing the end of it already…

Elder Lam and I have been working hard outside, posting flyers on any lamp post, postboxes we can see in our sight…to promote our 1-on-1 English tutoring, and tons of people have called…people just can resist FREE stuff you see. Although most of those have been mandarin speaking, we’ve been able to find those who speak cantonese as well…it is wonderful, never before have I had people calling wanting to meet missionaries (aka. free english teachers). So it has been really fun. But dead tiring…it is really cold outside, when the wind is blowing at you, the cold cuts through all your clothes, and you think it is just absolutely silly to be outside…but we are, and strange to say, I kinda enjoying it! Anyhow…when I’ve been outside working all day…I sleep better at night…

So today, I can finally send the pictures I’ve been promising to do so…this computer I’m using can send pictures but can’t read chinese…annoying…but you can’t have everything in life I guess.

So this month, had the Chinese New Year Party, dressed an American missionary up as the God of Fortune! And ate more delicious food…I cooked the curry, and the other thing is Korea rice cake! Both so tasty!

Have fun, and have a great week…

Elder Lau
