Good Week.

September 27, 2010

In comparison to pervious weeks, this week was quite good…it felt like we worked hard, had fun, enjoyed the Mid-Autumn Festival, built trust with people, and above all invited them to come unto Christ.

We found a family on Monday, the Hong Family, 6 people in the house, but only 3 are investigators at the moment, there is the Grandma, the Dad, the Mum, and 3 Children, Michael, 13, Monica 11, and Rachel 4. We are only teaching the Dad, Mum, and Monica at the moment, they are wonderful family, Rachel the 4 year old is so adorable, she waves at us when she see us at the door and opens the door for us, then runs back into the house. They have no real religious background, except Monica, really like the Bible study class at school, we’ve been able to meet them twice this week, and both times, brought some great members to help out! Bro. Hui, who is a successful businessman, raised his family in the church with great joy, and as parents, Mr & Mrs, Hong, listened intently, and when they heard Bro Hui sharing about all the countless blessings of raising his family in the gospel, it was as if theirs were sparkling with anticipation. Our mission president calls it the Celestial Teamwork – Missionaries, the Members and the Lord, when the right member is there, sharing about the gospel, every single thing they share is really worth their weight in gold!

It has been a great week, we are hoping for 2 baptisms in the month of October, and General Conference is coming up! What is General Conference you ask? find out here

My tummy’s rumbling, its time for lunch, so until next week! Take Care!
