Slam Dunk 2

August 30, 2010

There is really no words that can describe the joy one feels when people you know, who you’ve come to love, and to know as a missionary, and to see them baptised, to know that they now have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives, and to know that they have found a source of true happiness through Jesus Christ, and we, through our imperfection were able to play just a small part, that feeling of joy is just indescribable.

And this week, I’ve had the privilege to witness two of very special people to me, get baptised this week. Kelly Ma and Tony Tran.

Kelly Ma, a wonderful person I’ve met through teaching English Class when I first came to Cantonese Work, she was my wonderful teaching assistant, eventually when she was investigating the church, she came to our Family Home Evenings, and had many fun times together, and this week, after coming back from China for her summer holiday, she got baptised on Friday and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost yesterday before leaving to university in the coming week…

Since a picture is a thousand words, I’ve attached four pictures this week. I just want to keep this post simple for now, I might expand on it at a later time.

Take Care
